The Samsonova prone angle seating system aims to assist those children and adults whose postural needs are not met by traditional and conventional seating solutions. The stable pelvic position and lumber prompt promotes dynamic upright seating.

The contoured seat incorporates an abduction pommel to increase pelvic stability. The wide base allows the weight of the user to be evenly distributed along the length of the femur. The seat can be adjusted in angle to give forward tilt and subsequent upright posture.
The armrests are provided to assist transfer and also to define the boundaries of the chair. Additionally the armrests are adjustable in height, width and angle, for maximum comfort.
The contoured lumber prompt is provided to encourage the development of anterior pelvic tilt and active extension preventing posterior pelvic tilt, commonly associated with flat backrests. The prompt is height and depth adjustable.
