Smirthwaite is excited to exhibit at the Occupational Therapy Show on the Prism Healthcare stand (D40, Hall 6) which takes place at the Birmingham NEC from 23-24 November 2023.
As 2023’s must attend event for all Occupational Therapists (OTs), the Show’s driving force is to make it easier for OT’s to find updated information, new resources, and support from peers in order to provide an enhanced service, helping their clients with independent living.
The show welcomes thousands of OTs from across the country and from a wide range of specialist areas to educate, inspire, and raise the profile for such an important allied healthcare profession.
Smirthwaite is proud to be one of the healthcare suppliers at the event, where we will be on hand showcasing our new products and offering advice, expertise, and specialist information.
New product innovations being unveiled on our stand include our bespoke Asiento postural support chair and Moving and Handling equipment. Prism UK will be presenting its new Freeway Flow shower cradle. This innovative product provides maximum comfort and support during showering, making it an ideal solution for those with mobility challenges.
Harvest Healthcare will be introducing their new state-of-the-art pressure care solution; AirSet cushion, which combines the benefits of foam and air to provide optimal pressure relief. Repose will be showcasing their Boston Porter Chair, and its smaller counterpart, the Boston Junior. Both are extremely comfortable healthcare chairs with independent movement of the tilt in space, backrest recline and leg rest elevation functions, enabling a whole range of postural positions for pressure management care.
Practicing independent Occupational Therapist and owner of Athena Handling Ltd, John Callas, will be hosting a series of informative workshops and clinics on behalf of Prism Healthcare (detailed below). With 23 years of dedicated practice, John continues to serve the public sector as a locum, maintaining his professional knowledge and expertise. Through Athena Handling Ltd, John passionately champions the cause of Occupational Therapist professionals, propelling them to new heights and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of occupational therapy.
