Qai Car Seat

Recognizing that all children deserve safe and comfortable travel, Smirthwaite has developed the Qai in strict adherence to the European ECER129/04 S standard for child restraint systems in motor vehicles. The Qai is authorized for use as a child restraint system for special needs and features rigorously tested and certified accessories, including lateral supports, hip pads, headrests, and footrests, to ensure compliance with stringent safety regulations. To meet the highest safety benchmarks, the Qai has undergone more than 40 crash tests.

The Qai car seat is designed to accommodate children with a height range of 61-150cm and offers a range of features to enhance safety and comfort:

• 360° Rotatable Seat: Facilitates easy access for transfers in and out of the vehicle.
• Flexible Positioning: Offers rearward-facing positioning for children 61-105cm and forward-facing positioning from 76cm.
• Comprehensive Support: Includes rigid lateral supports, harness, headrest, and abduction wedge for optimal positioning and support.
• Adjustability: Features reclining positions (approximately 10° tilt) and adjustable backrest height.
• Tailored Design: Inner cushions and hip pads are included to reduce seat depth and width, catering to smaller and slimmer children.
• Adjustable Footrest: Provides height and angle adjustment for proper leg support.

The introduction of the Qai follows the successful launch of Smirthwaite's SIMON paediatric car seat, reinforcing the company's commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and comfortable travel solutions for children with specific needs.
