Following on from the recent promotion of Derek York to UK Commercial Manager, we’re thrilled to announce the promotion of Ewan Mcphee from Technical Product Advisor East England to Northern Sales Manager reporting to Derek York.
Ewan will be leading the Northern Assessor team and supporting Derek with bolstering sales and promoting our latest product innovations including our moving and handling range; pressure care relief technology in partnership with Levitex; and our new Asiento innovative and bespoke chair which is launching very soon.
Ewan has a wealth of experience in the paediatric market and in particular, Smirthwaite products and is a very knowledgeable Occupational Therapist. With the recent changes with both Ewan’s and Derek’s positions, Smirthwaite are now recruiting for a new Technical Product Advisor in the North – please contact HR for further information on this role.
Commenting on his promotion, Ewan said: “I’m really looking forward to starting my new role as National Sales Manager North. I’ve worked at Smirthwaite as a Technical product advisor (TPA) for just over 8 years, and I worked as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist focusing on posture prior to this. My strong paediatric background enables me to support my fellow colleagues in promoting Smirthwaite and for us to continue providing the best service for our end users.”
